How to Live a Healthy Life
Our life is very important to us. We just borrowed it from God the Creator. So, it is but wise for us to take good care of it. No matter what the pains, obstacles, hardships and temptations we encounter, we always have to find ways and means to relieve the pain and solve whatever problem there is.
First, it is necessary for us to identify the pain, aches and stress we are experiencing for these do not give us a healthy life. We should always start our day with happy and exciting moments. We have to think of something good into our mind and body. We can read a Bible or any inspirational book. We have to bear in mind that everything is possible and every problem has always a solution. We can also do meditation early in the morning. This could be a great help to us to start our day right. We have to drink as much water as we can handle. We can also eat snacks before lunch such as fruits, nuts but not sweets. When lunch time comes, we have to eat healthy foods but not too much that could make us sleepy. Try to eat foods that could increase our energy level. Always put in mind not to overeat for this could make us slow in making whatever thing we have to do.
Next, we have to give time for OURSELF. After a long, tiresome day at the office or at home, it is necessary for us to spend time alone. We can read books, magazines, inspirational books or anything we want to read. We can also spend time for body massage, body spa, foot spa, manicure, hair relax or rebond or anything that could satisfy us during our free time. Alternatively, if we want, we can just sit alone in a corner and think of many good things. Do meditation. Avoid thinking of negative events, happenings, moments and problems. Furthermore, we should avoid thinking of our enemies or any person who can ruin our day.
We also need to do body exercise. Doing this makes us physically fit and healthy. Exercising at least 30 minutes a day would be enough time for us to burn our fats. These exercises can be in the form of walking, running, jogging, stationary biking, biking, aerobics and the like. We can do this alone. Alternatively, if we want to enjoy more and have fun, we can invite any family member or friend to accompany us in our daily exercise.
Lastly, if something bad happens during the day that is unavoidable to happen, still find ways and mean to make ourselves smile and make our day beautiful. Do not frown and avoid getting angry. Be friendly to everyone. And make the most out of our day. Most important of all is, do not forget to pray when you wake up, before eating your meals and before going to bed. Having God as the center of our life makes us more confident and strong. For nothing is impossible with Him.
If we have to start our day right, we also have to make sure to end our day happy. Life is worth living if we know how to handle our valued life and keep the most out of it.
